WE GET ON WHEELS
We will design and construct mobile training and demo units that will serve as information centres to raise awareness of the benefits of nZEBs and will create the necessary conditions for effective communication between stakeholders. With very careful attention to exterior and interior design, the centres will offer real-life experience of quality nZEB and will be equipped with all necessary technologies to provide full information of the processes with relevance to the building’s performance in terms of comfort, internal air quality parameters and energy consumption. |
WE SHOW STUFF
With all the experience and equipment from operating the Building Knowledge Hubs network, we already have a lot to show. However, we will go a few steps further - we will produce mobile demonstration mock-ups and tools, we will do training courses for both designers and workers during nZEB days, and we will go on-site: we will find ongoing construction projects where training is needed and deliver it. We will there for you in do-it-yourself shops and construction hypermarkets, for an advice when and where you need it. |
WE PLAY GAMES
We will have live demonstration events, workshops, games for youngsters and active social media engagement to reach out to to both local people and local media. A comic book and an online game are already in the production pipeline, while real-time construction of demo models and "Ice Challenge" events are already tried and tested. At our events, you'll play with lots of data, and what is more - you'll see the building construction from the inside out, using BIM and virtual reality equipment for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. |
WE TALK TO PEOPLE
Yes, that's what we usually do. As always, we will organize policy conferences, workshops and training events. We will talk policies and financial schemes, we will advocate the need to integrate skilled labour requirements in public procurement. It is important and we won't give up on this. But this time we go one step further - we will consult real construction projects, at least 20 of them! Come and ask questions - this is what we're looking for! |
